This year, ODMA was fated to be bigger and better than the 2013 & 2015 exhibitions, which were located in a smaller venue in Brisbane. John's daughter Helen says "The Marathon des Sables is ranked by the Discovery Channel as the toughest footrace on earth. John Nicola is ranked by the Nicola Family as the toughest man on earth! Over 250km's running through the desert my dad has now completed his last ultra marathon doing us proud running the final timed section (42.2km) in 6hrs 25minutes. A charity run tomorrow with all the other competitors will complete his incredible journey! Here is a video of him showing his love to everyone after he passes the finish line!"
